Meelo (pronounced: Me-Low) was a stray cat, and we found out about her because our horse, Buddy, got out and wandered up to our neighbors' house where the kittens were. She was calm and right at home from the start, and all I had to do was carry her into the vet without a cage, two other dogs there and she was basically like,"Sup, what's going on?" She was calm during the visit, and on the ride home. I named Meelo after the "Legend of Korra"'s character.
She's energetic as kittens usually are, and she's fallen asleep on my head multiple times. Which is an odd state to wake up in. She enjoys some TV shows, but falls asleep to Batman almost every time. She and our German Shepherd, Nadia, sometimes share a plate of eggs from our chickens in the morning, cooked of course. And so far, Meelo has proved a wonderful addition to the family, from her oddly jointed tail and forelegs, to the way she races around the house and struts about the dogs and cats like she owns the place. She also loves cuddles. We love her!
