Evee is a very special wee girl I rescued her off the street about nine months ago. I had seen her around before but assumed she was owned. We guess she is about eight or nine years old.
I always leave water outside and one day I saw her drinking close up I could see she wasn't in good condition. I slowly befriended her as she was quite scared at first. Poor Evee was skin and bone, riddled wth fleas and worms and upon my observation I knew something wasn't right with her mouth. After a vet consult we were told she needed full extraction of all her teeth, her mouth was in a terrible state. Her pain would have been excruciating.
After building her up a bit and giving her antibiotics in preparation for surgery, it went ahead. It wasn't a total success but she is doing so much better. She lives permanently upstairs in our bedroom. She was in recovery there and she has chosen to stay there, which is better to keep her safe, anyway. She is still has health issues, and our time together may be limited.
That said, Evee is a treasure. She is the most loving cat I've ever owned. I can cuddle her and kiss her, and she sleeps in my arms nearly all night or above my head on the pillow.
She is totally awesome and I adore her and love her so much.
