The cat you see is named Onyx, our tuxedo mix boy. Onyx - also known as House Cow or Fat Cat (affectionately, of course), is a seven-year-old sassafras. He is a big boy, true, but he is strong. Fat Cat loves catnip and loves to play. His best friend is a 200 lb Mastiff mix named Louie. As you can see, he has no problem accessing Louie's elevated feeding station. He also has his own cat tree, and climbs to the very top to properly survey his domain.
Onyx has the funniest "night time crazies," unlike any cat I have heard of - he likes to sink his claws under the bed and drag himself by his arm around the bottom of the mattress. He also loves to attack feet at night still. Onyx is super loving when he feels like it, and always does something to make me laugh. I love him.
