This is Sophie, a Scottish Fold cat, and she is now seven years old. She is very shy, so if you are a stranger, or someone with a loud voice, you might never see her when you visit. If you stay long enough, and are quiet enough, she may decide you are worth a visit.
She’s a funny little cat, and her round face with her mask-like markings is very cute, and so she gets away with a lot. She’s so funny, and she sits like this or sleeps on the floor in this position all the time, just like she’s a person. I didn’t know this when I got her, but it turns out lots of other Scottish Folds sit like this, too. I just wonder why! Especially as it shows off her tummy, the bottoms of her feet, which we are not really supposed to touch and as I said, she’s a very shy girl! Sophie is my little sweetheart, and is an indoor kitty here with me in Rochester, New York.
