Sarah does have a bit of an interesting story. She's a rescue cat that was, originally, going to be put down as a kitten. Luckily, my mum had a friend who was talking about this cat in a shelter that needed a home right away. My mum said yes, the next day there was a cat being brought to our door.
We've since had her ever and brought her up (although sometimes I still don't think she quite knows how to cat properly). Her full name is Sarah Cottonsocks - we got her when I was young, so it wasn't the best name choice, ha ha.
Sarah also has an interesting eye condition (her right eye, it's brown instead of green). This is called iris melanosis and (thankfully) it's not dangerous or harmful, but it does make her look pretty and unique. We love our Sarah Cottonsocks!
