This is Nutmeg. She is a tabby and white British short hair. Nutmeg is such an affectionate cat, she has quite a loud purr. Unlike any of the other cats my partner and I have owned, Nutmeg doesn't like Dreamies cat treats. She prefers to play by herself or with us rather than her mum, they always fight, or brother cos he is too rough with her. She was a rescue cat as were her mum and brothers. Her cat Mum turned up as a stray, pregnant and mistreated. She was taken in, and the kittens were born at a foster home for Cats Protection. One brother died as a kitten.
Nutmeg loves playing with her catnip rooster. She also loves the stuffed bird on a string. I swing it for her and she jumps to great heights to kill it. She likes to chase flies and spiders too. Her paws move all over when I spider runs across the carpet. She even tried to catch one on the ceiling once. If she wants treats, especially tuna or ham Nutmeg is very vocal and won't shut up until she gets some. She loves to sleep in my lap in the evenings and doesn't like me waking her up when I'm going to bed.
