Hello! My name is Onigiri! But you can just call me Oni for short. I just turned one year old on September 8th! I was rescued with my brother when I was eight weeks old from the outdoors by Wiley's rescue. I was the last one to be caught! My owner came across me on Craigslist and wanted to meet me so badly but her mommy wasn't sure because I was feral! My owner just wanted to see me, so we met after a week of convincing. I scratched my rescuer very badly that day but she still saw potential. My owner adopted me that day! And I was moved into a home in the city of Rochester with my new mommy. She named me onigiri because I look like a rice ball! But don't be fooled because I'm also an oni which are little yokai spirits that make a lot of noise in the night! I would always knock things off the counters in her room or run up and down her body when she slept. But I love to cuddle her so much and nuzzle her neck all the time too!
I always jump onto her shoulders and she will bring me on walks on a leash. I have the energy of a pack of batteries at all times. I like to make really silly faces and sometimes chase my tail too. My mommy makes fun of me because I have long legs and big ears but she still thinks I'm cute! I have an older brother and sister named Tadashi and Nala. I get along well with Tadashi but I love to beat him up and rough house with him even though he's double my size! I also like to play with Nala but she doesn't like to play with me but sometimes she will scare me when I least expect it! I love to steal potatoes and chase them around the house and play with shiny tinsel on a stick!
I'm also very well trained too! I sit when my mommy tells me too and I'll even go to my room when it's time for bedtime! (Mommy doesn't trust me out at night myself cuz I like to stalk the fish and birds) I love to travel and go to different family members houses with my mommy and great great grandmas house is my favorite! My grandpa gives me ice water in a bowl and cuts up my wet food for me onto a plate! They also buy me lots of fun toys and my favorites are the tinsel on a stick and my tunnel. I like to run through my tunnel and slide across their floors and then play with my shadow. I can be very calm and cuddly one minute and then frizzy crazy kitty the next! I'm very spoiled and if the litter is not the right brand I will go potty on the chairs! My mommy loves me very much and I love my mommy very much and I am the happiest kitten in the world.
