These are pictures of my male cat Scooter! He is part Maine Coon and part Ragdoll. Scooter is full of energy and loves to play. If you're not paying attention to him, or playing with him, he will stare at you and meow until you do. He steals the lids off of everyone's water bottles, so you definitely can't leave them laying on a table. He would rather play than lay around, but he enjoys his cheeks rubbed. His sister is part of our family too!
I have always had cats; however, after the passing of one of my cats of 20 years of age, we decided it was time to get another one. I wanted a Maine Coon because my other cat was part Maine Coon and I loved his personality. I began looking online and found a woman in Arizona that bred ‘Coondolls' (Maine Coon and Ragdoll mix). I contacted her and asked when the next litter was and told her I wanted a male stiped Coondoll. She reserved one and after the litter was born, she called and said she had a male striped one set aside for me. After about three weeks, she called again and said "I'm sorry that striped one I set aside for you is actually a female." I was torn and didn't know what to do. I wasn't that familiar with female cats and wasn't sure I wanted one. She then said "I do have one male left," and she sent a picture of this cute little gray and white kitten (Scooter). I spoke to my husband and saidm "Can we just get both of them?" Long story short, we now have our male cat Scooter (more Ragdoll) and our striped (female) Maine Coon!
Scooter howls like a Ragdoll, especially when people aren't playing with him, and he loves to catch things when you toss them in the air. He sits on his butt and reaches in the air and catches caps, ice, etc in his paws!
