Back in 2015, my family and I adopted Ozzy from the Kitsap Humane Society alongside a chubby kitty who is also a senior. My favorite nicknames for Ozzy are "Hobbit Kitty" and "Lord of the Rings Kitty", not only because of his regal face, but also because of his wanderlust and sense of adventure. He loves sneaking outside and exploring the world just like a hobbit would. Then when he returns home from a long day of adventuring, he either likes to sleep on my stepfather's computer chair or on my parents' bed.
Ozzy is the sweetest old man kitty, but he's incredibly shy, so it's important that we don't make any sudden loud noises that'll startle him. When he seeks affection, we're happy to give it to him in the form of scratches behind the ears and Temptations kitty treats. To this day, my family and I aren't certain how old he really is, but we hope we get to keep him for a long, long time. He's so precious and lovable!
