My cat's name is Smeagle, and he is (best guess) a 'mutt' cat. He is around 15 years old now, and he lives with me in Springfield, Massachusetts.
What makes my cat special is how he has been there for me my entire life, and provided comfort when I needed it. For a majority of my life, I was always afraid of him, since I was always scared of the possibility of him scratching me, but I eventually got over that fear. And man, was that feeling of accomplishment so extraordinary. My cat Smeagle has taught me so much throughout my lifetime, but unfortunately his is coming to an end soon.
Recently, he had a stroke of some sort, and he hasn't been walking right ever since. He keeps falling over, leaning to one side, and overall not having any balance. My family, though, has come to accept that he's lived a long and happy life, even through all the difficulties and hardships that our many other pets have thrown his way. After 15 years, old Smeagle deserves a final rest. We love you, Smeagol.
