Gizmo is very special, because she has become a sweet lovable cat after all she has endured. She was found under the Brooklyn bridge behind an orange cone.We don't know if she was hit and dragged, or fell from the bridge. A friend had found her and brought her to the vet. She had to have her right back leg amputated, and stitches on her other leg. My friend could not keep her, so I took her in. She was scared and hurting and kind of layed around. You could tell she had a litter of kittens very recently, and she was all of five months old.
She would run out of my room crying and looking around, whenever I was watching Animal Planet and kittens where crying. Then she had to be brought in to be fixed, and her third eyelid popped out. It was like that for two months, and then it suddenly went back to normal.
My other cat Johnny and her starting playing, and everyone starting getting along. She is a year old now, and she is happy, and trusting. She sleeps in my bed, and loves her treats. For all she has been through, she deserves to be honored.
