This is Luna. Luna is a ten-to eleven-year-old TNR - trap, neuter and release - cat who showed up in our barn. You can tell when you see her, from her one short ear, that she was part of that program. They "tip" the ear (when the cats are under anesthesia already for their neutering surgery) so that the truly feral cats don't get trapped again and again to check and see if they are spayed or neutered. We do not know her breed, or her age really, just that she is a tortoiseshell with longish fur, and soft as can be.
Luna showed up at our barn as I said, and thanks to my kids, she is now a house cat. They saw her and fell in love, and convinced her inside is the place to be. She is now loved, spoiled and quite content. Another special thing about Luna is her nose. She has the perfect nose for Valentine's Day!
