The day before Christmas and the birdfeeder was unused ... couldn't have anything to do with this innocent-looking face on the other side of the glass, could it?
Peanut came to us from a friend who was moving to California and had no room to take her along. She was a very young kitten then and I couldn't let her go to a shelter. I figured she would just have a short visit until I could find someone to take her. She's been here four years now.
Our older cat didn't care for her at first but grew to tolerate her. Peanut is very much a lap cat, especially this cold winter. We both enjoy the warmth.
