Ollie is a weird Persian where he meows at other cats but will go up and down in octaves. He enjoys belly rubs and also has a special meow for my wife. If I immitate my wife's voice he won't respond but if she says baby then he will meow and find her.
Ollie is actually my second Persian but newest member of my family. He has a brother and a sister. Ollie was adopted from a rescue here in Dallas Fort Worth region and my wife loves Persians and so do I. Ollie unfortunately was surrendered and with us owning two other Persians we were contacted to check him out.
Ollie is a very outgoing and social cat but very lazy when it comes to playing. He will meow to get your attention and want you to throw some of his toys. He will proceed to play with them for less then 5 minutes and go back to laying around, rinse repeat for most of the work day haha. His favorite game involves chasing a laser, we actually use a food thermometer laser as it has good range and battery, he will zip through the house after it. He is pretty affectionate, occasionally I will wake up with him asleep on my pillow next to me or he sleeps on my wife's feet. He actually hates getting bathed but loves getting brushed.
