Beukie is named after Jeff Beukaboom who played for the NY Rangers. We are hockey fans, so figured that would be a good name, and it's fun to say anyway!
Beukie is special because she is a super cuddly cat. She greets me when I come home from work. She follows me around like I am her mommy. I honestly don't know if she realizes that I am not a cat. She attempts to groom me by licking my hair and loves to lay on my lap, especially when I am working on the computer or watching TV. When I sleep at night, she must sleep by my head, so I keep an extra pillow behind mine. She usually sleeps with her nose right against my head. I love her very much.
