This is Pandora-usually called Pandy. She is 17 years old and was adopted from Cats Protection in Southampton England soon after she had her first litter of kittens. She is a very affectionate cat,and as you can see,gets herself into some very peculiar positions.
Her personality is more like a dog than a cat. She is totally bonded to me. She annoyed my wife because if she called her, Pandy would look at me for confirmation that this other person was ok. Pandy was also impossible to pick up-all flailing claws and teeth if tried,only coming to sit on you when she wished. We had asked Cats Protection if they had any ginger cats (as we call orange ones over here) and Pandy was offered to us as soon as her kittens were weaned. She will tolerate strangers but they only get a sniff ,and are allowed a head scratch if they are accepted.
