This
is my cat, Sam (full name, Koonyak Samuel Clemens). He is a
three and a half years old American Shorthair neuter. He lives in
Baltimore, Maryland and is a show cat. Sam is a Quadruple Grand
Champion in the American Cat Fanciers Association. Sam is a really
sweet cat and I love him to death. This picture was used as my
Christmas card last year and Sam really tolerated the Santa Suit so
well.
Sam likes to pray for things. When he wants to get up on the counter,
he stands on his hind legs, puts his front paws together and waves
them up and down, looking like he is praying! He does this for
everything he wants. It is so funny to watch. Sam is also a very
spoiled cat. He usually always gets his way and if he doesn't want to
do something, he will let you know under no uncertain terms. He gets
get along very well with my other cats (three Maine Coons and a
domestic longhair). Sam is a purebred American Shorthair and
sometimes people confuse this with a domestic shorthair. He is a
silver tabby, which is the most common color that ASH's come in. All
silver tabbies must have green eyes and Sam's are quite a stunning
color of green.
