Meet
"Spats" from Evington, Virginia. Spats came to us from
the animal shelter where he was the loudest, most rambunctious one
there. He was six weeks old when we got him. All the other cats were
just sitting in their cages behaving themselves and Spats was
climbing up the cage, meowing loudly, batting the other kittens and
making sure someone noticed him and took him home.
He has turned into a very handsome fellow, still very rambunctious
and mischevious. This is his way of trying to attract and catch
birds. As you can see he is not very successful in his approach. He
would like to become Cat of the Day, and if so, promises not to catch
any of the birds that may land in his bird bath.
He loves to go out in his woods and roam around, and sometimes
forgets when breakfast and dinner time is. When he finally does come
home he lets you know he is hungry with a loud, pitiful meow! He
fits in well with our 16 other cats.
