Sassy
was a three-year-old Persian. She was living in Hermiston,
Oregon, USA. Last year a friend of ours moved and was unable to take
Sassy with him. Of course we took her in with our other pets. She
stole our hearts! And she was pretty fond of us too! She was our
princess! She would sit on the bathroom counter while we brushed our
teeth and wait to be held. She would run and jump on the dining
table to get closer to us so we would pick her up and carry her
around like the little baby that she was. Prettier than our son's
girlfriend! That's a fact, and Sassy knew it! But then our Princess
went missing. Unfortunately this story does not have a happy ending.
Our dog, bless her, found her and brought home her hide. We figure
she must have gotten hit by a car. Our hearts are broken.
