This
is Socrates, he is a year and a half old, and is a very playful
cat. He loves to chase our other cat around the house and wrestle
with him. He loves all of his toys, especially his fake mice that he
loves to bat around and bite the tails off of. He loves to go out on
his harness and leash around the yard, laying in the grass and
talking to the birds. It is so cute to watch this. We started him
with both a harness and a leash when he was three months old or so.
Socrates is one of the most loving cats I've ever seen. He knows
when any of us are sad and he always comes by and looks up at you
with his big orange eyes with the "what's wrong" look. Whenever he
hears anyone in the kitchen he comes running out always wanting food.
If we would let him he would eat catnip like candy, but we don't.
He loves catnip. He loves to sit in front of the TV like a person
would, sitting up, and watches TV with you if he likes the show.
He loves to go visiting over our friends houses and go exploring, and
going to go see his dad. He especially loves it when his
"girlfriend" comes over to visit. (My sister's cat) They both roll
around on the floor, and make lovey-dovey faces at each other, it is
very cute to watch. My whole family, and I, and friends love him
more than anything. Everyone tells us that he is soooooo handsome.
Socrates got his name from my boyfriend and I, it was the 5th name we
chose. We kept on changing the name over and over again. We both
thought the name was cute and that he'd grow into it, especially with
those big ears of his.
