Meet
Kia the cat. He's a little over eight years old, and came to us
at one year of age from a loving home that unfortunately had some
allergy problems. He's an orange marmalade and shares our home in
Brandon, Manitoba Canada. He's a big cat, but its probably to make
room for a big heart. He's extremely affectionate and good-natured,
and in the seven years since he came to live with us, has not growled
or even hissed once. He's very trusting, often riding on our
shoulders for a person's eye view of things and always willing to
humour a small child handling him. An especially nice thing about our
friend is he's still as playful as the kitten we got years ago; it
doesn't take too much coaxing to get that wide-eyed playful
expression into him once more. He's a true friend.
