This
is Lucy, or better know as Queen Lucille of all she surveys!
Lucy is almost three years old (April 30th) and is a Mackeral Tabby.
She was adopted along with
Blue,
(who was a previous Cat of the Day - 2/2/99), from a local shelter
here in Houston, TX, when she was 14 weeks old. From the day we set
her little feet on the kitchen floor she has declared herself Queen
of the house. She dictates when playtime is and when it is time for
her daily "rubbings." She loves to be loved, but she says when.
Lucy doesn't meow like most kitties, she squeaks and peeps instead.
She has another little brother besides Blue and his name is ZuZu.
They have become good buddies and love to play Indy 500 through the
house. The best time is bedtime when Lucy beds down between our legs
to sleep the night. She's not really a purrer but does love to squeak
at the birds in the back yard. Queen Lucy and her royal subjects,
Blue, ZuZu and Paul and Joanne (her human subjects) send greetings to
all the Cats of the Day (she thinks they are all her royal subjects too)!
