Remmy
and Sidney are Tonkinese Kittens. They are four months old and
are two of the most loveable cats I have ever seen in my life. They
seem to love people with a passion. They also have a thing for
shoulders, love to sit on them. In the short time I have had them
they have brought a lot of love and happiness into my life. They are
definitely the Cat's of the Day in my book.
Tonkinese became a "recognized" breed in the 80's. They are
1/2 Burmese and 1/2 Siamese, so they have the beautiful siamese
coloring, however their eyes are usually aqua, and they have more of
the Burmese personality, which is very friendly, very affectionate,
and very dog-like. They love to play fetch and chew things! hee hee
hee. Tonkinese definitely talk like Siamese and Burmese more than
they meow. They are way high energy even as adults but not to the
point where its a nuisance. They do like to be in the middle of
whatever you are doing though. Right now one is sitting on top of my
monitor and the other next to me on my desk. :)
