This
is one of my cats, Yohi, and as you can see she is the queen of
the house. She is a very intelligent cat, and knows exactly
what she wants. For example: she does not like to be held in our
hands, but she will sit on your lap whenever she decides she wants
to. She can feel when I'm down, and she will come to comfort me. She
prefers to stay outside, but she will come and sleep next to my head
sometimes, usually in winter.
When she was younger, she used to hunt for me. She used to bring me
mice (alive!) so that I'd have to catch them at home. I learned to
identify her call - she called to me with the mouse in her mouth. I
had to get up and catch it, usually at 5 am. I'm sure she thinks I'm
very stupid, because she brought a lot of them, and still I did not
learn how to hunt (according to her)! Now she does not bring them
anymore (I'm very thankful for that!).
Her favorite place is outside, usually on a tree in the yard, where
she can watch her kingdom from above. She has a sister, Daniela, and
they have lived with me since they were born. I picked their mother
from the street, and since then I have had them. Their mother died
when she was nine years old, and I hope that I'll have there two for
a long time more. They are the most perfect and adorable creatures in
the world.
