Lucifer recently moved from a house he had to share (with a dopey
dog and a much bigger cat) to his very own home. He was surprised by how
much responsibility came with being the master of his own house! His days
are filled with crucial housecat activities such as:
Keeping the chairs warm.
Inspecting the fish pond.
Observing the machinations of the evil squirrels.
Getting fur on the pillows.
Yowling and hissing at the cat next door.
Removing small objects from flat surfaces.
Catching birds and rats.
Yawning, stretching, and looking around with big owl eyes.
His work is never done! Tom has a kitty door so he can come and go as the
mood strikes him, and he has trained his people to turn on the faucet for
him when he is thirsty. His favorite treat is Moo Bits, he enjoys playing
fetch, and his favorite toy is a lambswool duster (it's great for cobwebs,
too). For all of the effort and hard work he puts into being the Cat of
the House, Thomas Lucifer deserves to be crowned the Cat of the Day.
