My
cat's name is Fiona. She is four years old and has all
the characteristics of a Maine Coon. We live in Lancaster,
South Carolina. What makes Fiona special? Where can I
start? I had never wanted a cat. I did not think I liked
them. That is, before Fiona. I found her one morning
setting on the tire of my car. She was barely old enough to
eat. I fed her on the pretense of getting her in shape to
take to the animal shelter for adoption. The rest is
history. I fell in love with the cat. Fiona is playful and
very intelligent. She will lie down and roll over on
command. She is always into something...boxes and bags are
a favorite. She follows me from room to room...she lays
beside me on the couch. She plays fetch with me and will
bring a toy mouse to let me know she wants to play. She
sleeps on the bed in the guest room with her head on the
pillow. Most of the time on her back. We used to call it
"the guest room" now it is "Fiona's
room." Fiona is a part of this family and I hope she
will remain a part of it for many years.
