Tootie
has been my buddy since she was five weeks old and has moved
to Arizona from Ohio with me twice. She has made the trip across the
country three times in a car, and although she hated every minute of
each trip, she was a trooper and took everything in stride, which is
amazing considering her prickly personality. She hates everyone,
human or animal, except for me, which is unfortunate because she's so
pretty that everyone wants to pet her. When anyone comes into her
home, she runs up to them and growls and hisses, letting them know
they are not welcome; she's been known to physically attack. Because
of this, my friends and family think she's the "cat from
hell," but with me she's very loving and affectionate. She sits
on the bathroom countertop in the morning to help me get ready for
work and she's waiting for me at the door when I arrive home at
night. She's definitely the Queen of her realm but also my pal.
