the Prison cat! My husband went to a prison for some law enforcement training
classes. When he was walking to the main door along came this
friendly cat, who by the way looks like a cat we had for over ten
years, cool as can be. My husband petted him and thought to himself,
if he is still here this evening I may just take him home. When his
day was over, as he left the main gate he ask the guard, "Whose
cat is that I saw out there this morning." The guard said,
"Someone dropped him off here, 'cause he has been hanging around
for several days." He also said, "He is a nice cat and I
would have taken him home with me, but my dog would have a fit.You
want him? If you don't take him he will just get hit by a car in the
parking lot."
With that my husband said, "Sure I'll take him home." But
now, where was the prison cat? The guard took his walkie talkie
outside and ask the other guards posted in towers! (big smile) Yep,
they spotted him by the cafeteria door. When I came home from work, I
was told there was something in the garage for me! When I ask if it
was a sports car, with a sly grin, no, was the answer, I ask if I
needed to take "treats" and was told probably! Expecting a
dog, but surprised to see Tom the Prison cat. He is a scream and we
love him, I suspect he is very happy here too! However, he wasn't
real fond of the Vet! ;-) But he is healthy and happy! That's the
story of Tom the Prison Cat in Ohio.
