This
is my cat, Nimbus. He was rescued as a kitten from an apartment
balcony where his previous owners had left him without food. He was
brought to my step-dad's vet clinic and began a long, hard road to
recovery. Several weeks after recovering from malnourishment, Nimbus
became ill. He was diagnosed with FIP, a deadly virus. I was
devastated and my husband suggested we bring Nimbus home to live out
his days in a real home. We cared for him constantly - giving him
special food and vitamins. Miraculously, Nimbus made an incredible
recovery and is now a healthy three-year-old. He now tests negative
for the virus that nearly killed him. Nimbus is extremely intelligent
and enjoys ruling over our five other cats. He keeps my husband
company while I am out of town and always seems to know when we need
some comfort or amusement. Nimbus is truly the "king" of
our lives.
