This
is a photo of my two cats, Boz (the tiger) and Sammy (short for
Sambuca). Boz is six and Sammy is five. They both live with me in
Rochester, NY. Boz was an adoptee from the local animal shelter. He
was the last little kitten left and he stole my heart. Sammy was a
stray from a pretty rough neighborhood in Rochester. So I spent three
days of crawling through the mud, trying to rescue her (much to her
dismay).
Between the two of them, they have added some pretty interesting
stories to my life. Boz escaped when a date picked me up (a first
date, no less) and we ended up getting locked out of my apartment.
And on a trip to visit my family for Christmas, Sammy climbed under
my car seat and got stuck. My mother and I spent over an hour in the
middle of winter lying down in the driveway, trying to get her out
from under the seat. They certainly make life interesting and I
wouldn't trade them for the world!
