Lilly
is the newest addition to our family. She is just little over a
year old. A domestic, short-haired white kitty, she has developed
into a companion with quite a unique personality. I got a call from
my sister last Halloween, who was frantic because their dog had
cornered a kitten in their garage and he was licking his chops to
have something for dinner. It wouldn't have been the first time.
Knowing how our family loves animals, I got the call. I wasn't sure
if we wanted another cat, since we already had one large dog and
another cat who ruled the house for a few years, I didn't know if it
would work out, but we agreed to take it in for the night. Her hair
was singed from fire, she was loaded with fleas, and covered in car
oil. I cleaned her up and got her to the vet and that was that.
Our new little friend was part of the family!
She's so goofy! She squeaks and "talks" with her silly
little sounds. She's so playful and, although gets on the nerves of
her cat-sister, Hanna (because Hanna has Garfield-like tendencies),
she is a precious, beautiful cat. She runs all over the place and has
especially been "involved" in helping me wrap Christmas
presents! We love her! I'm so thankful that things have worked out
like they have. We're so lucky!
