Here's
our favorite picture of Lucky enjoying the tropical paradise
of Hawaii. We have since moved back to the place where he left his
heart, San Francisco. He was born on the 4th of July 1995 underneath the
house we lived in on the Presidio. He was one of six kittens born
that day and he was the "lucky" one who was chosen to live
with us. Lucky was two days old when he came into our lives and now
we couldn't imagine what life would be like without him.
Sometimes I think he thinks he's human. Every morning he must have
the bathtub water turned on so he can drink and then wants his
Whisker Lickin treats for breakfast, which he hates to share with his
girlfriend Ivory. He's a very verbal cat. He's also moody and demands
plenty of love and affection. If he doesn't get his way, he has no
problem sitting on your face while your asleep or crawling underneath
the sheets to give you his little love bites to wake you up. He's
also a great watch cat because he growls every time a stranger comes
to the door. Lucky has enriched our lives in so many ways that
sometimes we feel like the "lucky" ones.
