Baldrick
is a very spoiled little kitty. He recently under went
corrective surgery for a colon problem. Prior to his surgery Baldrick
weighed only 5.5 pounds, his energy level was low and he spent most
of his days sleeping. The poor little fella was in constant pain
caused by constipation. We finally met a vet that was able to
diagnose Baldrick's problem. He had "Mega-colon." The vet
explained the option of correcting this problem with a surgical
procedure that removes a portion of the colon- lessening the kitty's
chance of getting backed-up. We decided to go for it and wow...little
Baldrick as become a whole new kitty. He is full of energy and very
sociable now. His coat is much softer and he's gained four pounds. We
are so happy with the results of the operation; it is liking having a
whole new kitty in our home!
