Jordi
is a mixed breed - seems to have a bit of Siamese due to nature and kink
in tail, and a bit of Maine Coon by his looks.
I fell in love with Jordi the minute I saw him as a six week old
kitten - a compact ball of fur! Today he is a real hunk and the
master of his and my domain! I grew up with dogs all my life and was
always a dog person - Jordi became my first cat and since then my
life has changed completely. He's really crazy cat
- not scared of anything, including the 5 cm-thick washing line
hanging over above from the third floor! He doesn't allow anyone to
hold or stroke him, he thinks these signs of affection are a start
for play time! It's taken me time, but I've learned to live with this
hard fact of life! But, he shows his affection in other ways.
My day always begins at 6:30am with Jordi pawing at my face! When I
arrive home, he recognizes my car alarm before I get upstairs and
waits for me at the door meowing like crazy (I think in cat lingo its
"where is my dinner already!" He loves me coming home with
lots of shopping bags - nothing can be packed away unless he has made
a full inspection of the day's purchases! Every hour or so he
suddenly gets an energy jolt (source unknown) darting and scampering
all around the place, making squealing noises, grabbing my ankles,
and ambushing me from every corner. I've learned never to leave the
toilet paper hanging from its container (not even 2 mm) otherwise my
apartment looks like Times Square on New Year's! The only time I can
make up a bed is while he is eating. And never lie on the bed with
your toes hanging over the edge! The antics go on and on!
