My
cats name is Spook, she is a three year old Seal Point Himalayan.
She lives with me in Columbia, Pennsylvania. She is special because
she has overcome great obstacles in her life. She was abandoned
outside before I rescued her at the Humane League. She had wounds
from a fight with another cat (she lost because she is declawed) and
also had a urinary tract infection. It took several weeks and vet
care and she improved. Then we found out she wasn't spayed and she
developed a food allergy. More vet care and a new food later and she
is doing fine.
She was quite scared in the beginning and has turned out wonderfully.
She is very territorial when it comes to playing with string and will
even growl like a dog sometimes when we play. When she wants to be
petted she flops on her side and rolls over on her belly. In spite of
all that has happened to her she is loving and trusting. A true
affectionate bundle of fur.
