This
is Mindy Kitty! She is about eight months old now. Mindy
is a short haired kitty, and I believe what they call a "Tuxedo
Cat" from the white markings on her chest and paws with the rest
black. She is a very special kitty to me in so many ways.
A year before Mindy arrived, I had a cat named Sassy that disappeared
and I was never able to find her. I had her for ten years and was
just heartbroken about her loss. I did not think I could ever get
another kitty again because I missed Sassy so much.
Eventually, the following spring, I got a wonderful Saint Bernard
puppy and was learning all about my new world with a puppy! And then,
a couple of months later, my sister brings over a little, tiny kitty
that she had found lost and abandoned on the side of a highway while
on a trip she was driving back from. She thought it was time to let
my sadness of Sassy go in a good way, because here was a little
hungry kitty that needed a home. Well, Mindy Kitty has been such a
blessing and joy to me ever since - and believe it or not, although
it took a bit for this itty bitty kitty to warm up to a 70 pound
Saint Bernard puppy - they are now the best of friends!
Mindy Kitty is so very kewl and so purdy too. She loves to be
outside, and it is a joy to watch her outside playing with nature,
since I had my other cat indoors only before. She is very playful and
for some reason, likes to jump in the bathtub (when it's empty of
course) to play around. She's a cutie that's for sure! Thank you
Tammy (my sister) for finding her! P.S. She was named Mindy because
she was found in Mendocino County, California - so we just shortened
the Mendocino to Mendi, then to Mindy. She now resides in the Bay
Area, California. Mindy has also become one of my favorite models for
my photography hobby too - she's a natural!
