This
is Earl, the Cat of Fat. He is by far the coolest cat I have
ever owned. Earl is about nineteen pounds and allegedly of Maine Coon
cat origin (An excuse for being enormous). I adopted Earl a few days
after I moved to Minnesota. Back then he was short haired (the Human
Society must have shaved him) and only twelve pounds and had an
idiotic name. A month later - bam! Fat Furball!
Well, I'd never trade him for the world! Earl, his other feline
punching bag, er, companion, The Weasel and I recently moved into a
new apartment with wood floors. It makes the upkeep of the Earl much
easier as now all I have to do is track down the daily fuzzball that
has collected somewhere in the apartment - rather than vacuum daily.
And the lack of traction makes for hysterical peel-outs and
skiddings. Earl's passions include eating, sleeping, lounging on very
high shelves, beating on The Weasel, getting his teeth cleaned by the
vet (okay that one is still up for debate), eating my plants and
watching the water whirl in the toilet. He is a truly unique Beast!
