I
have never been able to understand the love an owner has for
his/her pets until I got these two precious darlings for Christmas
'97. I had never owned a pet until Mjesec and Sunce and now, I would
be lost with out them. They are my babies. Siamese cats have
incredible personalities and their vocals are immeasurable. They have
at least a hundred different meows, groan and grunts. Each with a
different meaning only the trained ear can understand.
Mjesec is the boy and larger of the two. He is the instigator. When
he wants to play or jump around Sunce has to follow or he will drive
her nuts. He likes to play rough, but will never hurt you. He will
bite and hold your finger, look up at you with eyes that say, "I
love you, I won't hurt you" and then let go and walk away with a
smile. He loves to lay on your legs with all four of his legs up in
the air, and meows for a belly and facial rub. He is spoiled.
Sunce is the girl and possibly even the runt of the litter. She is
just under seven pounds and is the most affectionate cat I have ever
seen. If you happen to be in a sitting or standing position she will
jump on you and plop her butt down to stay. While standing, she will
crunch down at my feet, start that butt wiggle that means "I'm
about to jump up on you, stand still." She jumps and lands about
high-thigh level, crawls the rest of the way and ends at your should
wanting to be held like an infant child. What can I tell you, she is
my baby. They are a true joy in my stressful little life and they are
always the Cats of my Day!
