My
J.J. is a Rainbow Angel. He was nine years old when he crossed the
Rainbow Bridge. He was a Blue Lynx Point. I adopted him as a feral
kitten, only ten days old. He and the rest of the litter were in my
yard. That was in April, 1987. He had the sweetest face and the most
magical blue eyes. He was sweetness personified I miss him so...
J.J. was a little "scaredy cat." He and Jonathan were
litter mates, Since Jonny was the "strong" one, I just
couldn't separate them for adoption, so I kept both of them. Best
decision I ever made.
J.J. loved to play bedtime antics. I would say, "Let's go to
bed" and all the kitties would run in the bedroom and jump on
the bed. I had eyelet throw pillows on the bed and J.J. would love to
dive underneath them and come up with the eyelet edge just above his
eyes. Then, he would dive under another pillow and so on and so on.
Then, I would pat his little bottom and he would twist from side to
side and roll around until I got tired!!! He was such an angel,
never got into any trouble or did anything wrong. He was only 9 years
old when he died, but he does live on in my heart. I have several
plots at the pet cemetery, but for now, he is in the back yard under
my bathroom window.
