This
is Billy "Bob" Brown. He was a therapy kitten with
Actors & Others for Animals. He's quite a tiny fellow, weighing in
at only five pounds. But, what he lacks in size, he makes up for in
cuteness!! He also rides on my shoulder all the time.
He is now a show cat. I show him in Household Pet at CFA cat shows.
At the March cat show in Irvine, CA, he took best cat in two
rings. Pretty good for a little guy who only weighs five pounds. When
he finals in a ring, I take him up with his cowboy hat on, yes, it
still fits, and the judge and the audience can't believe their eyes.
He is nine months old now, so I don't expect him to get too much
bigger. He was the runt of the litter and only four of the eight
kittens survived. He is still as mischievous as a three-month-old
kitten, so it looks like he will be my perpetual kitten!!!
Everyone at the cat shows looks forward to seeing Bob
because he rides on my shoulder and has a purr that is louder
than he is big. When he went to the convalescent hospitals as a
therapy cat, the ladies would kiss him so much that he came home with
red lipstick all over him...
