This
my oldest cat, Buffy. It would be best if I let her speak. She
can do that! (Buffy is a 15+ yr. old female silver tabby, & the
light of my life! No one could ask for a better cat, especially in a
multi-cat household.)
Hello, I am Buffy, and I live in Easton, PA, USA. (Very common name,
I know. But, what can I say? I formerly resided in a pet shelter, and
I guess they were so busy they didn't have time to be creative with
names.) I adopted my family in 1982, when I was nine months old. I am
told that makes me....well, pretty old, but I would rather not go
into that. Age is just a number. What IS important is that I live in
this house with my five feline "pals", and our dog, Dude, a
German Shepherd. He stays outside most often during the day, but we
cats live indoors, and, except for occasional forays out to the yard,
we like it that way.
My claim to fame is that I "raised" my five companion cats
just as any good mother would, even though they were not
"my" kittens. Shhh. The don't now that! (tee hee) I raised
several others, too, who are no longer with us. I like being the
caretaker, and am extremely maternal, even though I am told I was
"altered" before I adopted my people. That being as it may,
I have raised and groomed eight other cats, and I am telling you,
that was no small feat! As if that weren't enough, I've looked after
the two adult humans in this household + two "children" who
are now grown, and on their own. It has been a good life, and I think
I have more good years left. So, if you have any kittens that need
tending......Uh-oh. My human is calling! :) :) One last thing: I
think I'm very pretty, and still look kitten-ish, don'tcha think?
