Kitty
started hanging out at my house when she was just a skinny
teenager. She was very friendly and would eagerly lap the milk I left
for her. Within a short time, she ended up living inside. Her sweet
personality blossomed - as did her size... Kitty was pregnant.
Although none of her babies lived, Kitty became a wonderful addition
to my home; always at the door to greet me, always happy to listen to
my worries and joys. And always eager to show me her fearless,
mothering instincts. Her life on the street before creating a family
with me made her daring, kind, and loving. Always curious and eager
to explore, Kitty is the "Leader of the Pack" to her spunky
younger sister,
Flora
- former Pet of The Day honoree. Kitty leads Flora into
"dangerous" missions, but always makes sure they are both
safe and home in time for supper.
