About Us
CleoCatra, the Cat of the Day
Name: CleoCatra
Age: Three years old
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Home: Ohio, USA

My name is CleoCatra and I'm three years old. I'm a domestic shorthair and I live in Ohio, in the USA. My mom and dad found one cold November night stuck up in a tree! They were visiting my "grandparents" and heard a cat meowing so loudly they were afraid it had been hit by a car. When they went down to the road to see if a cat was injured my mom happened to look up and see me stuck up there. As soon as I saw the light I came down and my dad picked me up. They saw that I was only a young cat - about six months old. I started purring right away to try and charm him. Since he and my mom already had three cats they decided to leave me with the grandparents. Well, within a couple days, my grandma began to think that I was blind. She told my mom, and since I would have to be an outdoor cat at grandma's house, my mom decided to bring me to her home where I could live safely indoors. I'm not blind, but the vet thinks I had some trauma injury when I was a kitten, so I don't see very well. Sometimes I can see well enough to chase a bug, but other times I run into the walls. I have a safe, happy home now and I am truly the queen! I have three cat "brothers" and a dog "sister" and we all get along really, really well. I pretty much rule the roost though since I have a "cattitude" that just doesn't quit.
