My
name is Pookie and I am ten. I have three dogs that I let live
with me. I love to eat. I'll eat as much as my chubby cheeks can
hold. My mom adopted me from the local pound when I was five and I've
been in charge since I first moved in. I really like living with
three dogs because they do whatever I tell them to do. My favorite
celebrities are Garfield and Morris.
My husband is more of a dog person and Pookie knew it when I first
brought him home from the pound. Pookie followed him
everywhere-through the garage,trying to trip him when he was feeding
the koi in our back yard ponds,trying to jump in his van and sit on
his lap when he was trying to go somewhere,sitting on his toolbox
when he needed something. Pookie basically did everything he could to
get under his skin. Pookie is just like Garfield-only to the extreme.
He was five when he let us live with him and has been in charge ever
since. He is so adorable and we're just crazy about him.
He has some other unusual habits. He won't drink out of a cat bowl.
He has to go to the edge of our koi ponds and cup his little foot and
drinks the water by slurping it very loudly!!! Sometimes it can be
a little distracting. He really likes our female dog, Lumpy, because
she is so maternal. When she is laying down he likes to curl up in a
little ball next to her stomach and rests his head on her. They sleep
like that for hours. We just really enjoy him and his bossy
personality. When you hold him he purrs and drools like a mastiff.
