O'Malley, the Cat of the Day
Name: O'Malley
Age: One year old
Gender: Male
Breed: Orange Tabby
Home: Norman, Oklahoma, USA

Hi! I am J. Thomas O'Malley. I was named after the O'Malley cat on the movie "Aristocats" one of my favorite movies. I came to live here in Norman, Oklahoma with my human parents almost one year ago. (Aug 29, 1998) I am a Domestic Shorthair (Red Tabby) male. I love my parents, who adopted me from someone who had the compassion "to save another discarded kitty cat" when I was only two weeks old. I came to live here at seven weeks of age, and we just celebrate my one year birthday last month. My favorite toy is a "meeyowwwwwse" of which all my toys are a mouse ever since Mom and Dad taught me the word. I use to love to go outside on my leash until the May 3, 1999 tornado which hit Moore, OK (a few miles away). Ever since then I hate to go out....except on the screened in porch. I love to go out on the porch esp at night...to catch bugs! I love to play fetch with my toys, esp at 3 AM. I hate water, as every real cat does! My favorite hobby is to "talk" about everything. I have a real attitude and hold grudges. If you make me mad, I'll turn to sit with my back to you and ignore every word you have to say. However, as you can see in this photo of me......I am very glued with interest. I love attention focused on me and I love to play! So, let's get started!

O'Malley is a real character. Believe it or not....he is a klepto kitty. He digs through my bowl on the dresser and bathroom counter to find my watch and ponytail holders. Once he locates one he takes it and cries that it is his if I take it back....that's what he was doing when my husband recorded his sound file. He was crying for my ponytail holder. Dutchess is his half-sister. They were abandoned at two weeks of age. He has the "chatty" part of the Siamese personality. Talks about everything!! He is very colorful and lots of fun! Never a dull moment with him.
