I
would like to nominate one of my seven cats "BatGirl." She
came to me from a shelter in July of 1999 and I think she was less than
a year old then. BatGirl is special because of her beautiful green eyes
and lovely distinctive mask, which is really similar to Catwoman (from
Batman comics) She is not only pretty, she is very calm and well
behaved, and she is extra affectionate. As a matter of fact, she seems
to like nothing better than being petted and loved. I think it is this
way for a lot of shelter kitties. I am so glad I adopted her and Grace
(another calico) at the same time. These two cats were in a cage
together at the shelter, so because they are both calico and like each
other so much I believe they are related. They seem to be a
"set", and (like all my kitties) are a real joy to me!
