I
picked her up when she was eight weeks old. She immediately loved
everyone but made it quite clear she was the boss. It didn't matter to
her that she was so small she could fit in the palm of my hand. Of
course, everything about Phoenix is special to me and everything about
her is hateful to Shadow (my son's five year old cat) and Gizmo (my ten
year old Yorkie).
Now that she has matured (ha ha) she has become more set in her ways.
These ways include jumping on the wall and hitting the switch to turn on
the lights if I'm watching a movie and she is being ignored, opening my
bifold closet door and sleeping in the corner on any clothing she can
get, knocking on the bathroom door whenever I'm in there, and slapping
Shadow and Gizmo whenever she gets scolded. She's so soft, so loving
(kisses every night and morning) and so funny how could she not be
special.
