Shanty
Kitty is very special to us because just this winter he did not
have a home. This winter, we had a lot of snow. When he first appeared
in our backyard, he was cold, hungry, and had many scratches and
injuries. We made him a little "shanty" out of milk crates and
towels so he would have a shelter (hence the name Shanty Kitty).
Finally, we decided to bring him in as the snow began to accumulate.
Despite some hissing from our other three cats, Shanty Kitty is very
sweet and loveable and seems to enjoy having a real home. All of his
scratches have healed and he is as handsome as ever! Shanty Kitty enjoys
eating treats, sitting in the window, and being petted on his stomach.
