My
cat's name is Venus, and she is a year and a half old kitty. We live
together in Irving, Texas (in the United States). I rescued her from an
animal shelter in September of 98 and she was a very, very sick little
girl. She weighed one pound when she came home. The little trooper
fought on for six months and came up to about three pounds, but you
could still see her tiny little ribs. Every night she would curl up next
to my head when I fell asleep and would lie there until I woke up in the
morning. One day she just started getting better, without any more help
from her vet. Now she's a little heavy, but she tells me she's just
making up for all that time she was sick. She loves to tease our other
cat, Sparky. She also likes to go out on our patio (supervised!) and
roll around in the sun. She still cuddles with me, as she loves
attention.
