My
name is Sofi, also know as Sniffy, Goosey, Baboozle, Bubula,
Patchouli, or any other cute nickname my Mama and Papa humans come up
with. I live in a house with my humans and I run a very tight ship. I
like to be scratched on my head and under my chin but never on my
stomach or my feet (too ticklish!) and only on my terms.
I wake Mama up every morning, even on weekends, at 5:30 by lying on her
stomach and demanding some nice scratches and "scrubs". I also like to
drink out of the water faucet in the bathroom... no lukewarm water for
me! Sometimes I race up the stairs to the bathroom and trick my humans
into thinking I want water but I what I really want is them to chase me.
I once lived outside with my kittens in the cold New England winter when
some nice person found me and took my kittens and me to a shelter.
That's where Mama and Papa found me. They noticed that I was at the
shelter longer than the other cats and knew that I needed a good home.
My humans love me so much, they are always picking me up and kissing me.
I pretend I don't like it but I really do. They keep me happy, warm,
well fed and safe. They are so lucky to have me. I love them too!
